Discover Our Unique Conservatory Roof Insulation System
If your conservatory is too hot in summer and too cold in winter, the issue is usually the glazed roof. In summer, direct solar radiation causes excessive heat build-up, while in winter significant heat escapes through the roof. Our conservatory roof insulation system is specifically designed to reflect radiant heat in summer and reduce heat loss in winter, creating a comfortable room you can enjoy all year round.
Not All Conservatory Roof Insulation Systems Are The Same
It’s an undeniable FACT that no system on the market has been designed specifically for use ONLY in conservatory roofs.
Our insulation foil has a negative carbon footprint and is made from a high volume of recycled materials meaning you don’t have to break the bank, or the environment.
Other “aluminium” quilts are just a plastic cover painted silver. Our pure aluminium outer layer is heat bonded to the core meaning that it WON’T fade over time.
Your conservatory will be cooler in summer and warmer in winter and we have the evidence to prove it.
As a family run business we prefer to let the facts and not marketing mumbo jumbo do the talking for us.

Conservatory Roof Insulation Values Explained
U-Value is widely used by companies to show how effective their insulation is, but that is not the only value that matters. Low Emissivity and a higher R-Value are just as, if not more important.
| Product Type | Type 2 | EN 16012 |
|---|---|---|
| Core Conductivity | 0.0366 W m² K | BS EN 12264 |
| Emissivity | 0.05 | EN 16012 |
| R-value - Floor (2 Airspaces) | 1.92 m² K/W | BS EN 6946 |
| R-value - Floor (1 Airspace) | 1.12 m² K/W | BS EN 6946 |
| R-value - Wall (2 Airspaces) | 1.65 m² K/W | BS EN 6946 |
| R-value - Wall (1 Airspace) | 0.99 m² K/W | BS EN 6946 |
| R-value - Pitched Roof (2 Airspaces) | 1.41 m² K/W | BS EN 6946 |
| R-value - Pitched Roof (1 Airspace) | 0.85 m² K/W | BS EN 6946 |
| Fire Performance | Class 1 / Class A | BS 476 / ASTM E84 |
| MVTR | >2000 MN s/g | BS 3177 |

What makes Conservandsave® conservatory insulation system so special…
When we developed Conservandsave®, the three main areas that we considered were: Heat Loss, Heat Reflection, and Noise.

Environmental Benefits
Our foil is manufactured from non-toxic, recycled closed cell polyethylene foam. Up to 40% of our foam core is actually manufactured from recycled milk cartons.
Not only does this reduce the need for refining and processing raw materials, it makes use of a product that is used every day and saves it from a landfill. Our insulation has one of the lowest carbon footprints of any insulation material on sale today.
Be Energy Efficient and Save Money
Our Conservandsave® system can vastly improve the energy efficiency rating of your conservatory. Independent testing* showed that energy efficiency almost doubled. This means less time heating or cooling the room leading to massive savings.
