Not All Conservatory Roof Insulation Systems Are The Same…
Conservandsave® is the Only Internal Conservatory Roof Insulation System With A Certified U Value,
we believe we have the BEST solution using only the highest quality and most environmentally friendly materials currently available.

It’s an undeniable FACT that no system on the market has been designed specifically for use ONLY in conservatory roofs.
Our insulation foil has a negative carbon footprint and is made from a high volume of recycled materials meaning you don’t have to break the bank, or the environment.
Other “aluminium” quilts are just a plastic cover painted silver. Our pure aluminium outer layer is heat bonded to the core meaning that it WON’T fade over time.
Your conservatory will be cooler in summer and warmer in winter and we have the evidence to prove it.
As a family run business we prefer to let the facts and not marketing mumbo jumbo do the talking for us.
Conservatory Roof Insulation Values Explained
The U-value of an insulation product is used to measure the rate of transfer of heat through a structure - the lower the u-value, the more effective the insulation will be.
What makes Conservandsave® conservatory insulation system so special…

Foil insulation works by reflecting heat, rather than absorbing the heat. It does this because aluminium has a natural emissivity value of only 0.03.
This means that it reflects radiant heat away from its surface, keeping your conservatory cool in Summer and warm in Winter.

Typical Heat Loss from a Conservatory Roof before installing ConserAndSave's Eco-friendly Roof Insulation system

When we developed Conservandsave®, the three main areas that we considered were: Heat Loss, Heat Reflection, and Noise.
Environmental Benefits
Our foil is manufactured from non-toxic, recycled closed cell polyethylene foam. Up to 40% of our foam core is actually manufactured from recycled milk cartons.
Not only does this reduce the need for refining and processing raw materials, it makes use of a product that is used every day and saves it from a landfill. Our Insulation has one of the lowest carbon footprints of any insulation material on sale today.
Global Warming Potential
Most insulation materials can make claims of low carbon footprint or Global Warming Potential (GWP) since they insulate and reduce CO2.
Our foil Insulation has one of the lowest Carbon Footprints or GWP of any Insulation product of sale today, even without considering the carbon saving from lifecycle use. This is due in no small part to our patented production method which eliminates the use of glues, adhesives or solvents.
-
Superior air infiltration barrier
Conservandsave® uses our original reflective insulation product. At only 5.5mm thick, our Insulation acts as a superior air infiltration barrier, reducing draughts and uncontrolled air movement.
-
Class 1 Fire Rating
We pride ourselves on Class 1 Fire Rating and have carried out Fire Tests to the highest standard across the World including BS EN 476 (UK), ASTM E84 (USA), AS/NZS 1530 (AUSTRALIA).
-
Non-Toxic
-
Indoor Air Quality tested and approved
Conservandsave® conservatory insulation system is Indoor Air Quality tested and approved. Our closed cell foam core is made from recycled material, it won’t absorb moisture, delaminate or corrode. It’s virtually rot proof.
-
The Thinnest Insulation on the Market
At just 5.5mm thickness and a semi-rigid construction, our Conservandsave® insulation foil can achieve the crucial double air gaps required to provide optimal insulation performance
-
Does not fade over time
Other foils are made from polymers which fade over time, but Conservandsave® uses a unique foil which will remain as effective as the day we installed it and comes with a 10-year warranty.
-
Conservatory Insulation Testing and Certification
Conservandsave® eco friendly conservatory insulation system is tested to the highest standards. Our Insulation is regularly tested to full comply with the European standard for foil insulation EN 16012.
Unlike some other insulation materials that produce gases, our Conservandsave® conservatory insulation system is totally non-toxic and with no fibres and no itching.

Space Saving
Incorporating our Insulation in any insulation system means the profile of the system can be made smaller / narrower. This also reduces the thickness of ancillary components.
Reducing ancillary components reduces haulage and takes trucks off the road. It also has the adding benefit of reducing internal/occupied space and reducing overall costs.
Reducing Energy Consumption
Conservandsave® is the only internal conservatory roof insulation system with a certified U value. Our foil Insulation tackles all 3 forms of heat loss, provides moisture control and reduces draughts and air leakage. It is one of the most efficient Insulations on the market.
Using our foil is guaranteed to reduce energy bills and life cycle costs.
Transport and Storage
Our foil doesn’t just save space as a product. Our large compact rolls also require less packaging and take up less space in transport and storage.
This has a hugely beneficial impact on the environment, as well as being more economical.
